Speaking following his appointment, Mr. Rees said:
“It’s a great honor to be appointed Chairman of the Welsh Black Cattle Society. Having been brought up with the breed, I’ve always believed the Welsh Black represents the very best of Welsh farming — hardy, adaptable, and capable of producing top-quality beef from our native pastures. At Brysgaga, we’ve seen firsthand how the breed’s qualities can deliver both performance and provenance, and I look forward to working with members to promote and strengthen the breed for future generations.”
The Society warmly thanks the outgoing Chairman, Mrs. Marian Phillips, for her dedicated service and strong leadership, and looks forward to a successful and prosperous term under Mr. Rees’s guidance.
