Society Council celebrates 120 years

Yesterday we proudly held our Council Meeting at the Pavilion in Builth Wells, marking 120 years since the very first Welsh Black Cattle Society Council Meeting in May 1905.
A huge thank you to all past and present Council members who have dedicated their time and passion to promoting and protecting our iconic breed.
As we celebrate this milestone, we also look ahead — the current Council term will come to an end at our Annual General Meeting in September. Nomination correspondence for new Council members will be sent to members in August.
Here’s to the next chapter of tradition, progress, and pedigree!
